About this centre

Bat World Bulgaria is NGO operating in Bulgaria. We are taking care of injured and orphaned bats. Our mission is to change people’s general perception of bats. We try to inform people of how important are bats for our health and society. Bats are really intelligent, emotional and sensitive creatures. They are extremely important for our ecosystem’s health, for our personal health, for the agriculture and industry’s sustainability. A small bat could eat thousands of insects per night. They are an actual little army that protects us, our children and our health.
